I had a wonderful extra-long weekend which included a girls getaway to Vancouver, British Columbia for a Rosie-the-Riveter inspired photo shoot for charity.
Getting back into the swing of things today was rough. Thank goodness for Easy Events (Wood 116958 $40.95, Clear 123225 $30.95) - I am so sad to see retire! This set is one of my go-to’s when I need to create a really quick and cute card and may not be feeling any stamping mojo! I was also really wanting to touch my new goodies BUT I have promised myself I would save them to show you when you can buy them too!
I wanted a clean look to this card so I started with a Whisper White base. I then added a panel of paper from International Bazaar Designer Series Paper (126920 $13.50).
I’ve layered this with a banner of Pacific Point that I embossed withe the Chevron Embossing Folder (127749 $9.95). I’ve stamped the cupcake from Easy Events (Wood 116958 $40.95, Clear 123225 $30.95) using Staz-on (101406 $10.50) on Whisper White and coloured it using Many Marvelous Markers (119806 $135.95). I’ve layered this onto Tangerine Tango cut using the Window Frames Framelits (129021 $32.95).
I’ve finished with a sentiment from Itty Bitty Banners (Wood 126255 $19.95, Clear 126257 $14.95) stamped in Pacific Point on Whisper White and then cut with the matching Bitty Banners Framelits (129267 $18.95).
Thank goodness for really, really, really great stamp sets from Stampin’ Up!
